Lighted Garland Window Treatment

2 Artificial garland strands 5 feet each 2 strands of 50 white electric mini lights 2 medium size pinecones 2 Artificial Poinsettia flowers |
2 gold and red leaves Thin metal wire Scissor Extension cord |

Steps
1) Lay the two garland strands out on the floor end to end. Using the metal wire join the two pieces together creating one piece of garland.
2) Bend the garland branches in different directions to create a realistic full look. 3) Starting at one end of the garland, string the lights in between the branches, tucking the connector of the two strands in the back of the branches. (It is easier to do this with the lights plugged in so they can be evenly spaced.) 4) Using the metal wire affix the garland over your existing window treatment at the corners and in the center. (To make sure it is evenly hung, use the point where the two garlands are joined as your center point) 5) Using the metal wire combine a pine cone, poinsettia and leaf, attaching them to the top corner of the garland. Repeat on other side. 6) Optional - Different lengths of garland and lights can be used according to your windows. |
