Kitchen

You don't need a ton of money to make your space functional and stylish. Notice the wall color and cabinets are not changed. A butcher block work station with plenty of storage is placed opposite the existing work surface.

A no curl vinyl flooring is placed over the existing floor, note the earth tones that match the work station. (This space is a rental property, the use of double sided tape to affix it to the floor makes for easy removal when the lease is up).

The table and chairs match the existing appliances. Two glass shelves are added to the window to display glassware. A splash of red is added to the table, floor and glass shelves to tie the whole room together.

Bathroom

Budget is always an issue and in a small bathroom space is too, everything is out on the sink because there is no place to put it.

Remove the existing medicine cabinet and replace it with an inexpensive one that is three times the size of the original. A small shelf is added behind the toilet for storage and decorative items.

The cabinet under the sink gets a fresh coat of white paint that is water resistant and the shower curtain is replaced with a crisp white one. This space went from scary to sensational with a little effort and a little money.
